Pop
[6:07]
[lyrics]
This is a song I wrote in remembrance of my Father in law {Ira Vincent Dowson}, a very special man, who, though he was a quiet man married to an assertive woman, managed to be a powerful force in bringing together a very large extended family. This became very obvious when he passed away, and that wonderful uniting force was gone.
We still get together, but it will never again be like it was when Pop was there. The good thing is that we are beginning to see Him in certain members in the family, and that is a comfort, along with the memory of this quiet, yet strong force.

Prideful Dreams of Safety
[5:19]
[lyrics]
There is a terrible vanity, a pride in mankind that arises in times of chaos, like the Dragon, calling the beast from the sea. I see us just now starting to enter such a time. The period between the two World Wars was such a time.
This time is different, though, in as much as the whole world will embrace the giddy self-solution-spirit that will be personified in the person at the head of the coming new world order. I can see the rise of this pride, and the new order that will greet it, even though many people can’t yet. It is already here, and is merely awaiting the flip of a switch, so to speak, to turn it on.

Salvation
[4:30]
[lyrics]
Recounting a time of salvation from fear. When we are attacked by a spirit that is fear, and thus is not God, we typically feel it as a fearful perception of life come over us, saturating all our thoughts. One cannot reason their way out of such a state. This state of consciousness has an autonomous aspect (which means it has a mind, and will of its own). In other words, such a mindset contains a living force that is not human, and cannot be dealt with using human resources.
Traditionally, we would refer to this mindset as a spirit, and it is important to note that such mentalities are way stronger than our human consciousness. It doesn’t take much observation to recognize these states of mind, because everybody has to deal with them from time to time. We tend to think of them as just a very strong mood, yet they are not that.
If you could assess them carefully, and objectively enough (which is doubly hard at such a time) you would notice that the mindset is very different than, even starkly contrasting from, the perception of things you typically would hold. That is because it is alive, and not from within your own being.
Our present view of the universe tends to suppress investigation, not to mention, give credence to, such things, but they are a very real fact of our human existence. And God, who also is spirit (is an autonomous force) is the only thing that can effectively resolve such an attack in our favor. When He does, the experience comes with a wonderful sense of being saved from a great enemy.

Surelle's Song
[6:00]
[lyrics]
This song was written for my precious grand niece Surelle Chavez. I love her, and am thankful for God giving me the opportunity to know her.
For years the doctors would send her home, on many, many occasions, saying she was going to die (of her Cancer). For years she would not die as she was expected to do, but would recover enough to fill many lives with her unique mentality of humor, love, concern for those less fortunate, impish pranks, vivid, flourishing imagination, and her enormously graciously carried sorrow, and sickness.
She left to be with Jesus this year, when it was God’s time for her. I saw her with Him, in her new body. The only way I can describe her new body (in the presence of God) is that it was twice as new, and fresh, and alive as the body of a newborn infant. I could feel God’s joy, and love in giving her this new body, and her joy and love in receiving it from Him.

So You Believe in the System, Do You
[6:27]
[lyrics]
I wrote this song seeing people I know, and love, blindly believing in a world system that has proven so many times to be fatal to those who trusted it for security, and acceptence, and status.
