ABC Consulting

Picture
ABC Consulting

is not a psychotherapy practice

and any similarity between

what I do and what a psychotherapist does

is purely coincidental

Who ABC Consulting is for?

ABC Consulting is:
* for groups and for individuals
* for rich people and for poor people
* for male humans and for female humans
* for persons of every sexual orientation
* for persons of every ideological, and religious disposition
* for persons needing consulting (about anything) by a person who will respond to cues from the subconscious mind (otherwise known as the human spirit), and who will analyze those cues to find the insight relevant to your needs.

What is ABC Consulting?

ABC Consulting is the service provided by John R. Brusseau in which he looks for the insight you need most, at whatever point or place or state of mind you are presently in.

Do you need insight on:
emotions
desires
human relationships
unresolved painful memories
intuitions
spiritual issues
business strategies
work related issues
intellectual problems

dreams

ABC Consulting is here to serve each of these needs.

I use, what I refer to as, a conductive reasoning approach to finding this insight for you. What this entails is a practice that is called different things in different social settings. In a psychological setting it would most closely resemble what has been known as a psycho-dynamic approach to therapy, and yet it is significantly different in its basic premise. In my Christian social setting, it has  been known as being led by the Holy Spirit.

It is the practical harnessing of the intuition to the task of processing one's life-issues. It is the looking for what God is saying, in every situation, about every circumstance. It is the careful attention paid to the cues rising up from the subconscious mind, and the intuitive and intelligent analysis of these cues.

What ABC Consulting costs?

My fee is $500.00 per hour (sessions are typically 2 or more hours long).
The cost for group consultations is the same as it is for an individual, $500.00 dollars per hour. So, if you would like to have me come and work with your group, you would split the cost among the members of your group.

You are getting the services of a person who is among the best in the world at what he does, and who has developed over a period of 3 decades his capacity to do this work.

How does my Conductive Reasoning Approach to therapy
differ from a Psycho-dynamic, or a Psychoanalytical approach?

How does my Conductive Reasoning approach to therapy differ from Psychoanalysis and Psycho-dynamic approaches to therapy?

Psycho-dynamic approaches to therapy, and psychoanalysis, both assume that the solution to our psychological issues is to bring something into balance within our soul (that has become out of balance).

My approach is to access the particular objectivity needed by the Analysand, via intuitively processing the cues that the subconscious mind is generating.

Balance is not the goal of my Conductive Reasoning approach. Harmony, and the healing of damaged consciousness is. Balance is just a nice byproduct of a Conductive reasoning Approach to therapy.

It is true that many forces in our human conscious life become out of balance, but the reason they do is that some painful, fear-characterized, event has damaged our perception of life, and this misperception produces an artificial need to compensate, which leads to an imbalance. The imbalance is the symptom, not the cause of the problem.

Our fear-produced compensations are like a pebble in our shoe. You could focus your attention on retraining the patient to walk straighter (in balance), but the better course of action would be to remove the pebble.

The human spirit, known in modern parlance as the subconscious mind, is supremely objective. It sees everything in its context, and thus can create a little pageant that symbolically encodes its objective perception of our issues. These pageants come in so many varied forms. They are our dreams, they are our impulses, our compulsions, our brainstorms, our infatuations, or fears, etc.

The Conductive Reason approach is a practical method of harnessing our intuition to the task of identifying and decoding these symbolically encoded statements from our subconscious mind.
